CS 455 - Mobile Sensor Networks (3 units) Emerging topics on mobile sensor networks (MSNs) research. Study and apply research methods commonly used in MSNs. Understand basic sensor/robot localization, navigation, fusion and control techniques.
Prerequisite(s): CS 326.
Units of Lecture: 3 Offered Every spring. Student Learning Outcomes (if available): Upon completion of this course: 1. Students will be able to demonstrate an ability to apply knowledge of computing, mathematics, science, and engineering. 2. Students will be able to design and conduct experiments, as well as to analyze and interpret data. 3. Students will be able to exhibit an ability to design, implement, and evaluate a computer-based system, process, component, or program to meet desired needs, within realistic constraints specific to the field. 4. Students will be able to acknowledge a recognition of the need for, and an ability to engage in continuing professional development and life-long learning. 5.
