The application of laws and methods of physics to problems presented by classical and current astronomical observations.

Prerequisite(s): PHYS 152  or PHYS 182 .

Upon completion of this course:
1. Students will be able to interpret and analyze aspects of astrophysics including stellar evolution, spectral classifications and galactic dynamics.
