CHE 311 - Engineering Thermodynamics I (3 units) Principles of engineering thermodynamics. A study of the first and second laws, entropy, ideal and real gases, and second-law analysis of engineering systems.
Units of Lecture: 3 Offered: Every Fall and Spring Student Learning Outcomes: Upon completion of this course: 1. Students will have an ability to apply knowledge of mathematics, science, and engineering. 2. Students will have an ability to identify, formulate, and solve engineering problems. 3. Students will have an ability to use the techniques, skills, and modern engineering tools necessary for engineering practice.
