CHE 441 - Unit Operations Lab I (1 unit) Experiments emphasizing theory of fluid flow, equipment, and strategy development for industrial problems. Provide practice in engineering presentations and report writing.
Prerequisite(s): CHE 102; CHE 374; ENGR 360.
Units of Laboratory/Studio: 1 Offered: Every Fall Student Learning Outcomes: Upon completion of this course: 1. Students will have an ability to apply knowledge of mathematics, science, and engineering. 2. Students will have an ability to design and conduct experiments, as well as to analyze and interpret data. 3. Students will have an ability to function on multidisciplinary teams. 4. Students will have an ability to identify, formulate, and solve engineering problems. 5. Students will have an understanding of professional and ethical responsibility. 6. Students will have an ability to communicate effectively. 7. Students will have an ability to use the techniques, skills, and modern engineering tools necessary for engineering practice.
