ENG 736 - Internship

(1 to 4 units)
Practicum in writing in community, school, or university settings. Maximum of 8 credits.

Prerequisite(s): Admission to graduate standing in the department of English.

Student Learning Outcomes:
Upon completion of this course:
1. Students will be able to spend a regular number of hours working on-site at the internship location.
2. Students will be able to develop a research or writing project in consultation with an on-site supervisor.
3. Students will be able to write a synthesis of their experience that engages the critical literature in the area.
