Upon completion of this course:
1. Students will be able to demonstrate competency in a specific area of journalism by producing a body of work (text, audio or broadcast stories, posts, social media, visual media and/or databases) suitable for publication on the course project.

3. Students will be able to demonstrate competency in critical thinking by designing, planning, producing and distributing their journalistic work products.
