The New Student Initiatives office exists to help new students transition to the University. The orientation program assists in transitioning and familiarizing students to the university experience and its support services. It is a required program for all new students. Orientation sessions are held during the summer and prior to classes starting each semester. The New Student fee is included in your first semester fees. It is a mandatory, nonrefundable charge.
