Fraternities and Sororities

Greek Life provides opportunities for students to incorporate the values of integrity, character, high standards, human and cultural diversity, civility and graciousness in our actions with one another, and the importance of a sense of humor with one’s quest for person development and organizational success.

Joining a fraternity or sorority can be a very rewarding experience. Fraternity/Sorority membership provides an immediate connection to campus life both in and out of the classroom. Yet the process for joining a fraternity or sorority can become very confusing, as there is not a uniform process, which all groups follow. Each chapter and council has their own times for formal and informal recruitment, which may occur at the beginning of the semester or throughout the year.
