Campus Tours and Visitations

The Office for Prospective Students encourages students and their families to visit the University of Nevada, Reno campus. Tours are offered by Student Ambassadors (a volunteer student organization) who provide a student’s perspective of the university. Tours are offered weekdays throughout each semester and tour times vary by day. Saturday tours are available by scheduling at least two weeks in advance; however, because campus is closed on weekends, these tours are predominantly exterior. You can also stop by the Welcome Center, located on the first floor of the Joe Crowley Student Union.

High school and community college faculty and counselors are encouraged to utilize the office to assist students in planning their education. We provide a number of services including school visitations, campus visits, tours, printed materials and special event programs. The Nevada Bound program is offered to students for a more in-depth visit experience that gives them an opportunity to experience student life at the University. Individuals requiring special accommodations should contact the office at least five days in advance.
