The Joe Crowley Student Union is the community center of the University where students are the number one priority. The Joe contains several departments, services, amenities, and food options including:
- A central location next to the Wiegand Fitness Center, Lawlor Events Center, Mackay Stadium, Lombardi Recreation Center, and the Mathewson-IGT Knowledge Center
- Many campus events are held in the Joe Crowley Student Union
- An Information Center on the first floor to welcome you and answer questions
- Wells Fargo, Bank of America, and Greater Nevada Credit Union ATMs on the 1st and 2nd floor for fast access to your cash
- A two story Nevada Wolf Shop with retail areas for textbooks, clothing, computer sales, a convenience store, and many other services for students and community members
- Blind Onion Pizza and Wings, a non-alcohol, family friendly restaurant that has pizza, wings, burgers and more located on the 3rd floor
- A variety of food retailers including Starbucks, Keva Juice, U-Swirl, Port of Subs, Panda Express, Del Lobo, SoHo Sushi Burrito, and Great Full Gardens
- Wells Fargo Bank, Kaplan and DMV Kiosk are located on the 1st floor
- 10,000 square ft Ballrooms on the top floor with sweeping views of the Sierras
- A 219 seat, digital surround sound movie theater with High Definition and Blu Ray
- Home to Associated Students of the University of Nevada, Graduate Student Association, The Center. Every Student. Every Story. and the Welcome Center
- A wide variety of conference rooms including 5 pre-set rooms, 6 multi-purpose rooms, a formal reception room, and ballrooms
- Outdoor seating and program areas for speakers, concerts, and other campus programming
- Environmental friendliness reflected in building design, usage of daylight harvesting strategies and xeriscaping for landscapes, recycled materials used throughout the building and in furnishings, as well as high energy efficiency systems for power, heat and cooling
- Computer stations for use to all students, faculty, and staff
- The Nevada Well with a highly filtered hydration station located on the 3rd floor
- Lounge areas with fireplaces for relaxing, studying, or spending time with your friends
- Wireless internet and access to electrical outlets for your laptop and phone charging
