The Nevada Center for Applied Research (NCAR)

The Nevada Center for Applied Research (NCAR) is an applied research-and-development technology center designed to enhance the global competitiveness of Nevada industry. Part of Research & Innovation, NCAR provides faculty, students, industries, community entrepreneurs and alumni with a central access point to utilize the broad range of technical services, intellectual capital, testing and research capabilities, advanced tools and methodologies, and makerspaces available through the University. NCAR helps clients determine the assets and expertise they need, and then develops a customized plan and fee structure.
