The University of Nevada, Reno General Catalog describes anticipated programs, courses and requirements, but these are subject to modification at any time to accommodate changes in university resources or educational plans.  The catalog does not constitute a contractual commitment that the university will offer all the courses or programs described.  The university reserves the right to, for financial, curricular, programmatic, health, or other reasons as it deems necessary and appropriate in its discretion : eliminate, cancel, reduce, modify, or phase out courses, programs and requirements; change the mode of instruction; limit enrollments in specific programs and courses; change fees during the student’s period of study; and/or dismiss or require a student to withdraw from a course, program, or the institution for cause.
