Core Objective 7: Artistic Composition, Interpretation, & Expression

Every student must complete at least 3 units from the following Artistic Composition, Interpretation, & Expression courses. Some majors require specific courses, therefore students should review the Artistic Composition, Interpretation, & Expression section in the program description.

Only approved arts courses may satisfy CO7.

• Core Objective 7: Artistic Composition, Interpretation & Expression.  Students will apply techniques of critical analysis to the study and interpretation of the arts (which includes such disciplines as dance, music, theater, visual art, and creative writing) in the context of culture, society, and individual identity.
