General Core

A Core Curriculum transfer agreement with each of Nevada’s community college is available in the Transfer Evaluation System (TES). The links below take you directly to these agreements.

ARIZONA, CALIFORNIA, WASHINGTON, AND TEXAS

Students transferring from Arizona, California, Oregon, Texas, and Washington colleges who have completed an approved general education curriculum are eligible for lower-division core curriculum waivers. California transfer students may use core and major transfer guides to make it simple to see how credits will transfer to Nevada. Transfer guides and information about core curriculum waivers are available on the Transfer Center’s website.

To determine the transferability of classes not listed in the transfer guides, visit Transferology, a transfer credit equivalency database. Enter the institution’s name and search for the relevant classes. If specific classes are not found in Transferology, “request information” and wait two to three weeks for an email response.
