GEOG 314 - Field Methods(3 units)Introduction to field techniques and methodologies used in geographic research. Emphasis on practical experience and analysis of data. May be repeated once with approval of instructor. Maximum units a student may earn: 6 Prerequisite(s): GEOG 313 and Geography major or minor. Units of Lecture: 1 Units of Laboratory/Studio: 2 Offered: Every Fall and Spring Student Learning Outcomes Upon completion of this course, students will be able to: 1. articulate research questions and evalute appropriate methods. 2. collect and analyze data. 3. communicate the subject matter in written, verbal, or graphical format.
