AST 110 - Stellar Astronomy(3 units)
Descriptive introduction to stellar and galactic systems. The life cycle of stars. Theories of the universe and its formation. Supplementary use of telescopes and planetarium facilities.
Prerequisite(s); Completion of the Core Curriculum Mathematics requirement or SAT of 610 or ACT of 27 or Accuplacer EA 80 and CL 84 OR Corequisite. Corequisite(s): MATH 126R or MATH 127R or MATH 128 or MATH 176 or MATH 181 .
