ME 417 - Cooling Electronic Equipment(3 units)
Application of heat transfer fundamentals to thermal control in electronics. Conduction, convection, radiation effects. Discussion of commercial and military requirements, and high performance cooling systems. (Formerly MECH 463/663; implemented Spring 2005.)
