MSE 450 - Techniques of Process Design, Economics and Safety

Principles of materials science and engineering process design. Economics, safety, social and ethical considerations; organization of process design; process synthesis; computer optimization techniques applied to design. (Major capstone course.)

Prerequisite(s): ENG 102; MSE 460. Corequisite(s): ENGR 301. Recommended preparation: Senior standing.
