ME 151 - Introduction to Mechanical Engineering II (3 units) Introduces the Product Realization Process, project management, team skills, feature-based solid modeling, and geometric tolerancing. Discussion of career options; computer lab; design projects.
Prerequisite(s): ENGR 100.
Units of Lecture: 1 Units of Laboratory/Studio: 2 Offered: Every Spring Student Learning Outcomes: Upon completion of this course: 1. Students will have an ability to design a system, component, or process to meet desired needs within realistic constraints such as economic, environmental, social, political, ethical, health and safety, manufacturability, and sustainability. 2. Students will have an ability to use the techniques, skills, and modern engineering tools necessary for engineering practice.
