ME 422 - Introduction to Robotics (3 units) Included topics are forward and inverse kinematics, motion kinematics, force/torque relations, trajectory planning, dynamics and control of robots.
Prerequisite(s): ME 310.
Units of Lecture: 3 Offered: Every Spring Student Learning Outcomes: Upon completion of this course: 1. Students will have an ability to apply knowledge of mathematics, science, and engineering. 2. Students will have the broad education necessary to understand the impact of engineering solutions in a global, economic, environmental, and societal context. 3. Students will have a recognition of the need for, and an ability to engage in life-long learning. 4. Students will have a knowledge of contemporary issues. 5. Students will have an ability to use the techniques, skills, and modern engineering tools necessary for engineering practice.
