ME 452 - Design Synthesis (4 units) CO12, CO14 Creation and optimization of mechanical systems. Topics: Economics, Ethics, Intellectual Property, Manufacturing, Reliability, Safety, Sustainability, and Testing. Team projects will be continued from ME 451 .
Prerequisite(s): ENG 102 ; CH 201 or CH 202 or CH 203 or CH 212 ; ENGR 100 ; ENGR 301 ; ME 451 ; Junior or Senior standing. Corequisite(s): ME 322 .

Students will have an ability to design and conduct experiments, as well as to analyze and interpret data. 2.
