MGT 323 - Organization and Interpersonal Behavior

(3 units)
Behavioral influences which affect productivity, organizational effectiveness, and efficiency including: perception, motivation, decision making, communication, leadership, organizational design, group behavior and coping with stress.

Prerequisite(s): Must be declared into a business major or minor.

Student Learning Outcomes:
Upon completion of this course:
1. Students will be able to demonstrate understanding of what motivates workers. 
2. Students will be able to explain the multiple factors that affect worker performance and prescribe solutions for performance issues. 
3. Students will be able to recognize the range of individual differences possessed by workers.
4. Students will be able to recognize the value of attracting, retaining, & promoting a diverse workforce.
5. Students will be able to identify and resolve ethical dilemmas that affect people in organizations.
6. Students will be able to defend the case for using teams in organizations.
7. Students will be able to describe an effective leader, including a diagnosis of personal strengths and growth areas in leadership.
