MKT 490 - Independent Study (3 units) Independent study and research in marketing topics.
Prerequisite(s): MKT 316; MKT 400; minimum GPA of 3.0; senior standing; approval of marketing area coordinator, and must be declared into a business major or minor.
Units of Independent Study: 3 Offered: Every Fall and Spring Student Learning Outcomes: Upon completion of this course: 1. Students will be able to explain aspects of a specific topic in marketing in more detail to a specific professional or academic audience. 2. Students will be able to research and compile available secondary sources of information on a specific topic. 3. Students will be able to demonstrate knowledge of marketing topics through written and oral assignments.
