MUS 416 - Orchestration (3 units) Arranging music for full orchestra, band and chorus. Transportation, voicing transcriptions from piano score. (Formerly MUS 310; implemented Fall 2004.)
Prerequisite(s): MUS 300.
Units of Lecture: 3 Offered: Every Fall Student Learning Outcomes: Upon completion of this course: 1. Students will be able to arrange music for full orchestra, band, and chorus. 2. Students will be able to transpose music for full orchestra, band, and chorus. 3. Students will be able to demonstrate ability to properly voice transcriptions from piano scores.
