MUS 623 - Chamber Music Literature (2 units) Music written for small groups in Baroque, Classical, 19th and 20th century periods.
Units of Lecture: 2 Student Learning Outcomes: Upon completion of this course: 1. Students will be able to analyze the variety of social, cultural, migrational, ethnic, and gendered contexts that inform chamber music. 2. Students will be able to speak and write about chamber music with nuance. 3. Students will be able to apply their knowledge of chamber music history to their area of specialization.
