PCB 711 - Systems Physiology (5 units) Graduate course in systems physiology.
Prerequisite(s): PCB 710.
Units of Lecture: 5 Offered: Every Spring Student Learning Outcomes: Upon completion of this course: 1. Students will be able to describe and identify the physiological mechanisms involved in cellular physiology and how the nervous system operates to control different muscles in the body. 2. Students will be able to determine functions and evaluate the physiological mechanisms involved in cellular physiology and control of the heart. 3. Students will be able to determine functions and evaluate the physiological mechanisms involved in the regulation of the gut, the endocrine system and reproduction.
