Electrostatics, magnetic fields, dielectric and magnetic materials, Maxwell’s equations, motion of charged particles, electromagnetic waves, radiation, boundary value problems.
Prerequisite(s): PHYS 182; PHYS 301.

Upon completion of this course:
1. Students will be able to explain the equations of electrodynamics and apply them to solve the problems of electrostatics, magnetostatics, and electromagnetic waves.
