PHYS 704 - Computational Techniques in Physical Science (3 units) Quantitative solutions of selected problems in classical and modern physics and atmospheric sciences to develop skills in problem formulation, computer applications and graphical presentation.
Units of Lecture: 3 Offered: Every Fall - Even Years Student Learning Outcomes: Upon completion of this course: 1. Students will be able to demonstrate ability to formulate problems in classical and modern physics and atmospheric sciences. 2. Students will be able to use computer applications to find quantitative solutions of selected problems in classical and modern physics and atmospheric sciences. 3. Students will be able to use computer graphics to illustrate quantitative solutions of selected problems in classical and modern physics and atmospheric sciences.
