PSC 407A - Political Systems of Western Europe (3 units) Political systems of the major Western European states and the social situations from which they have arisen. (Formerly PSC 411/611; implemented Fall 2004.)
Prerequisite(s): CH 201 or CH 202 or CH 203; ENG 102; Junior or Senior standing.
Units of Lecture: 3 Core Status: General Capstone Offered: Every Fall - Odd Years Student Learning Outcomes: Upon completion of this course: 1. Students will be able to describe the political systems of Western European states. 2. Students will be able to compare political outcomes of Western European states. 3. Students will be able to analyze variations in institutional arrangements in Western European states. 4. Students will be able to contrast the ways in which institutional arrangements influence political outcomes in Western European states. 5. Students will be able to articulate similarities and differences in Western European states.
