Prerequisite(s): CH 201 or CH 202 or CH 203; ENG 102; Junior or Senior standing.
Units of Lecture: 3 Core Status: General Capstone Offered: Every Spring - Odd Years Student Learning Outcomes: Upon completion of this course: 1. Students will be able to recognize major themes in Russia’s political history that explain Russia’s current governance. 2. Students will be able to identify and analyze the major governing institutions in Russia. 3. Students will be able to recognize major themes that explain Russia’s political culture. 4. Students will be able to examine the role of corruption in governing Russia. 5. Students will be able to evaluate the state of Russia’s human rights practices.
