PSY 605 - Perception (3 units) Basic principles by which individuals perceive their environment. Topics can include the perception of form, color, space and depth.
Units of Lecture: 3 Offered: Every Spring Student Learning Outcomes: Upon completion of this course: 1. Students will be able to describe basic psychological and neural processes involved in perception. 2. Students will be able to demonstrate ability to discuss and describe in writing the psychophysical and neural methods for studying the senses. 3. Students will be able to solve basic problems related to how the senses work. 4. Students will be able to discuss current theories of human perception.
