CHS 798 - Field Studies in Public Health (1 to 6 units) Supervised field experience in health and wellness settings. Maximum of 6 credits.
Offered: Every Fall and Summer Student Learning Outcomes: Upon completion of this course: 1. Students will be able to demonstrate effective written and oral skills for communicating with different audiences in the context of professional and public health activities. 2. Students will be able to demonstrate team building, negotiation, and conflict management skills. 3. Students will be able to demonstrate the importance of working collaboratively with diverse communities and constituencies (e.g. researchers, practitioners, agencies and organizations).
