MKT 441 - Distribution Systems (3 units) Theory, principles and channel implications of wholesale and retail distribution; factors affecting channels; physical distribution.
Prerequisite(s): MKT 210; MKT 316.
Units of Lecture: 3 Offered: Every Spring Student Learning Outcomes: Upon completion of this course: 1. Students will be able to describe marketing channels in terms of managing the process. 2. Students will be able to explain the importance of relationship, cooperation, and trust in Business-to-Business interactions. 3. Students will be able to evaluate the nature of channel conflict and power. 4. Students will be able to examine and describe the nature of communication and influence strategies in marketing channels.
