Topical survey of popular culture and history, focusing on historical background and utilizing diverse primary and secondary sources. Topics will vary. Repeatable up to a maximum of 9 credits.

Student Learning Outcomes:
Upon completion of this course:
1. Students will be able to analyze primary and secondary sources in popular culture to determine and interpret connections with historical change over time.
2. Students will be able to examine secondary sources from multiple disciplines and identify the argument, main points, and use of evidence.
3. Students will be able to articulate original historical arguments and effectively support them with evidence from primary and secondary sources.
