ME 696 - Management of SARP Preparation

(1 unit)
This course focuses on the development of management activities required to produce Safety Analysis Reports for Packaging (SARP). This course offered only at Savannah River National Laboratory. Students are responsible for all national laboratory fees and expenses associated with the course location.

Prerequisite(s): A basic knowledge of nuclear physics and regulatory requirements for safe transport of radioactive materials, and a BS in an Engineering field. In addition, knowledge in radioactive material package design and testing, commercial cargo transport operations and logistics.

Upon completion of this course:
