MSE 656 - Batteries (3 units) An introduction to the various types of batteries; energy storage and conversion, various components of the batteries with respect to their properties and experimental methods to study them.
Units of Lecture: 3 Offered: Every Spring - Even Years Student Learning Outcomes: Upon completion of this course: 1. Students will have an ability to apply engineering research and theory to advance the art, science, and practice of the discipline. 2. Students will have an ability to design and conduct experiments as well as to analyze, interpret, apply, and disseminate the data. 3. Students will have an understanding of research methodology. 4. Students will have an ability to communicate effectively.
