CS 151 - Introduction to Cybersecurity (3 units) Introduction to fundamental concepts of cybersecurity, common cybersecurity vulnerabilities and threats, and techniques and tools for detecting and defending against cyber-attacks.
Units of Lecture: 3 Offered: Every Fall Student Learning Outcomes: Upon completion of this course: 1. Students will have an understanding of professional, ethical, legal, security and social issues and responsibilities. 2. Students will have the broad education necessary to analyze the local and global impact of computing and engineering solutions on individuals, organizations, and society. 3. Students will have a recognition of the need for, and an ability to engage in continuing professional development and life-long learning. 4. Students will have an ability to use current techniques, skills, and tools necessary for computing and engineering practice.
