ANTH 400E - Native American Literature (3 units) Contemporary and traditional Native American literature. Emphasis on relationships between oral and written traditions. Different regional focus each semester.
Prerequisite(s): ENG 303 or Junior standing.
Units of Lecture: 3 Core Status: Diversity Offered: Every Fall - Even Years Student Learning Outcomes: Upon completion of this course: 1. Students will be able to analyze and discuss different narratives from Native American oral traditions. 2. Students will be able to analyze and discuss different narratives from Native American written texts. 3. Students will be able to demonstrate their ability to interpret and convey the diverse genres of Native American expression.
