ART 302 - Drawing III

(3 units)
Continuation of ART 101  and ART 102  offered to develop maturity of expression in a broad range of media. Maximum of 6 credits.

Prerequisite(s): 9 credits in drawing.

Units of Laboratory/Studio: 3
Offered: Every Fall and Spring
Student Learning Outcomes:
Upon completion of this course:
1. Students will be able to demonstrate understanding of the basic mechanics of drawing such as composition, value scale and line quality in the development of their concepts.
2. Students will be able to develop skills related to the application of materials in drawing.
3. Students will be able to demonstrate knowledge of contemporary art vocabulary in the critical evaluation of their work and that of their peers during class critiques.
4. Students will be able to analyze and interpret critical issues and practices in the drawing program.
