BIOL 298 - Independent Study (1 to 3 units)
Research and/or readings in selected topics in biology. Maximum of 8 credits. For freshmen and sophomores only.

Student Learning Outcomes:
Upon completion of this course:
1. Students will be able to demonstrate a basic knowledge of working in a research environment.
2. Students will be able to describe how research is carried out in a specific research environment.
3. Students will be able to demonstrate basic knowledge regarding the background to a specific piece of research.
