BIOL 491 - Independent Study (1 to 3 units)
Research and/or readings in selected topics in biology. Maximum of 8 credits.
Offered: Every Fall, Spring, and Summer
Student Learning Outcomes:
Upon completion of this course:
1. Students will be able to gain practical experience of working in a research environment.
2. Students will be able to describe how research is carried out in a specific research environment.
3. Students will be able to participate in at least one basic research function of the host laboratory.
