BIOT 607 - Biotechnology Laboratory (4 units) Project-centered laboratory techniques course in the construction, expression and function of recombinant proteins.
Units of Lecture: 1 Units of Laboratory/Studio: 3 Offered: Every Fall Student Learning Outcomes: Upon completion of this course: 1. Students will be able to conduct experiments as directed and evaluate the data that is generated. 2. Students will be able to interpret, apply, and reference professional materials, including manufacturer’s directions, standard operating procedures, web-based programs, and primary literature. 3. Students will be able to demonstrate understanding of the experiments through hands-on, written and oral examinations. 4. Students will be able to conduct themselves in a professional manner.
