BIOT 700 - Current Topics in Biotechnology (2 units) Lecture and faculty/student discussions on current topics and systems in biotechnology. Maximum of 6 credits.
Units of Lecture: 2 Student Learning Outcomes: Upon completion of this course: 1. Students will be able to demonstrate ability to critically evaluate and debate issues pertaining to modern biochemical and molecular biological research. 2. Students will be able to develop presentations on advanced topics and publications related to biotechnology. 3. Students will be able to demonstrate understanding of the applications of science and technology in societal context.
