CEE 442 - Fundamentals of Geotechnical Engineering (3 to 4 units)
Weight-volume relationships and soil compaction; permeability and seepage; consolidation and settlement; shear strength and application to lateral earth pressure, bearing capacity and slope stability.
Prerequisite(s): CEE 372 with a “C” or better, or corequisite. Corequisite(s): CEE 372 .

Upon completion of this course:
1. Students will have an ability to apply knowledge of mathematics, science, and engineering.
