Student Learning Outcomes:
Upon completion of this course:
1. Students will be able to explain the meaning of medical terms by analyzing their component parts.
2. Students will be able to demonstrate understanding of basic human anatomy and physiology, correlating this to medical terminology.
3. Students will be able to explain the main functions of body systems.
4. Students will be able to spell medical terms by understanding how the word parts are combined, appreciating the importance of accurate spelling in a medical environment.
