Student Learning Outcomes:
Upon completion of this course:
1. Students will be able to demonstrate an introductory understanding of social dance terminology through physical and verbal recognition.
2. Students will be able to perform of various styles of social dances differentiating between smooth, Latin, and rhythm social dance forms.
3. Students will be able to demonstrate understanding of rhythmic timing, partnering, and spatial pathways.
4. Students will be able to demonstrate expressive and dynamic qualities during performance of movement.
