DAN 238 - Modern Dance (Intermediate) (1 unit) Units of Laboratory/Studio: 1 Offered: Every Fall and Spring Student Learning Outcomes: Upon completion of this course: 1. Students will be able to demonstrate an intermediate understanding of modern dance terminology through physical and verbal recognition. 2. Students will be able to demonstrate an expanded understanding of the technique, artistry, and performance of modern dance. 3. Students will be able to demonstrate an intermediary ability to perform intricate movement combinations and complex choreography. 4. Students will be able to recognize and process more complex rhythmic tasks, movement pathways, and spatial variations.
