ECON 302 - Intermediate Microeconomics (3 units) Intermediate analysis of price determination, resource allocation, market structure, consumer behavior, producer behavior, market failure and government failure. Economic approaches to social issues and policy.
Prerequisite(s): ECON 102 or HON 220; ECON 262; IS 101; MATH 176 or higher.
Units of Lecture: 3 Offered: Every Fall, Spring, and Summer Student Learning Outcomes: Upon completion of this course: 1. Students will be able to demonstrate knowledge of the economic theory and applications of consumer behaviors. 2. Students will be able to demonstrate knowledge of the economic theory and practices of firm behaviors. 3. Students will be able to demonstrate knowledge of the economic concepts of market structures and government roles.
