EDRL 702 - Reading Clinic

Administration of the reading clinic. Observation, planning and management of the pupils diagnosis and remediation as well as staffing and parent conference. Maximum of 6 credits.

Student Learning Outcomes:
Upon completion of this course:
1. Students will be able to effectively observe and provide feedback to tutors based on literacy theory and research. Students will be able to manage, assess, and diagnose literacy using informal and formal assessments critically to implement, modify, and improve literacy instruction and remediation.
2. Students will be able to synthesize assessment data and observational notes to effectively communicate with staff and families.
