Selected problems related to educational specialties: Multiple literacies,
Student Learning Outcomes:
Upon completion of this course:
1. Students will be able to identify and explain the theoretical frameworks that inform “multiliteracies” as well as each of the “multiple literacies” we will be exploring in this course.
2. Students will be able to discuss and debate the implications of a multiple literacies framework for Pre-K–12 classrooms, with particular attention to how a broadened conception of literacy can enhance learning and agency for all learners.
